We walked here from Exeter Racecourse Caravan Club site. We sat outside in the picnic area as we took our dogs with us. Picnic area is lovely paved area under the trees with sun and shade. The large breakfast was large, excellently cooked, service was great. Definitely recommend this place.
Great place. Honest food at decent prices. The breakfast is good and you can customise it to your liking. Daily newspapers are available to read in a rack by the door. Free parking. Very clean toilets. The whole place is set in the 80s but clean and welcoming, so in a nice way.
We stopped here on 22-02-2024 on way to family funeral. Lovely food. And lovely staff. A lady with purple hair asked where we was going. And I explained. She said sorry for your loss and hope.all goes well. And wished us a safe journey
I was recommended this Diner by a friend a few years ago and finally decided to visit, it's only accessible from the westbound carriageway of the A38. It's located adjacent to Exeter Racecourse.
We decided on a Big breakfast and scrambled egg on toast. It was busy however the service was freindly and prompt. Check the menu, order and pay at the till and they bring it to your table.
The interior is dated but well spaced out and nearly everyone were wearing masks.
The food was good and portion size generous. Free ample car parking on site.
Always love going to Haldon Diner. There's a good variety of wholesome meals to choose from at a really good price. Great place to go with the family and a corner for the kids to play in while they wait for food.
Great little diner. They do various different types of meals, from breakfast, steak or burgers all the way through to a roast dinners. It's inexpensive, and has very friendly staff. It's a nice place to eat, or to pop in for a drink. The hot chocolate is amazing.
There are a few options for younger children. And they always do their best to accommodate personal requirements.
There are quite a few deserts to choose from.
If you are nearby, I would definitely suggest giving it a try. You can't go wrong here.
I went to this dinner for a breakfast and I must say it was the best I have ever had absolutely delicious ???? the staff and service was excellent and a very clean and comfortable place ???? I will definitely be using Haldon forest dinner in future.

The service was very good. The breakfast was very nice. They served gluten-free. The prices are the best around the area. Free parking, you can even loan a newspaper to read. It's a good place to pop in and get good food and service all day. Good wheelchair access
