Having been turned away at Lordswood Pharmacy with the instruction to "try somewhere else", I went to Hagley Road. They also did not have the medication prescribed but immediately started phoning other pharmacies and looking for alternatives. Five minutes later I had what I needed. Helpful, polite; I could not ask for more. I shall come here in future.
Staff helpful & friendly when you visit. However, they never answer the phone. I've been phoning for on & off for 2 days, no reply. I have a query on a medication that they supplied. Very bad.
Awful service, went to collect repeat prescription, one item not available in prescribed dose it was suggested to go back to Dr's for alternative or different dose. Got altered prescription, went to collect, shop closed, assistant inside kept looking then put handwritten note on door stating closed as waiting for pharmacist, didn't have courtesy to apologise to queue of people waiting. 3rd visit to collect altered prescription to be told they didn't have it and would need to order....
The service at this pharmacy is extremely poor! No matter how many days in advance the doctor sends the prescription to them it is never ready to collect. They have also stopped sending text message notifications when repeat prescriptions are ready & when you go in there is always a queue at least 10 people deep. It has been like this for the last few months & it is getting worse! Today, a lady in front of me tried to ask the manager why the service had deteriorated so much and she was quite rude & very defensive with her response!
I dread going there but it’s a case of having too as that is my local pharmacy!
I called in here recently to pick up a Click & Collect order, 7 people in front of me for various things, those picking up prescriptions told to come back in an hour after pharmacist finished lunch even though many said they’d ordered days ago ? Very such slow service, I will never choose this Lloyds again to collect anything. They need to sharpen their ideas up or most folk will go elsewhere.
Ongoing nightmare with this pharmacy bedbound so have to send my son to collect prescriptions of multiple items. Frustrating as prescriptions not fulfilled in a timely manner and multiple visits to the chemist are always needed before all items dispensed. It’s distressing
