A long overdue review. I think I have eaten through the whole menu over the years. They have introduced me to polenta :)
So many options, and you can mix and match to get the most out of it. Options are so diverse, from meatballs to vegetarian to vegan. And everything is tasty.

We've now had several delicious meals from Paola, and it's always a pleasure popping in to the shop. If you want a warm welcome, lovely service, and delicious, convenient, well-priced home made Italian food, the you have to try Gustosissima.
She even lets our daft greyhound in while we order, which makes life easier for all of us. We love dog-friendly local businesses!
Oh my god but yes! Yes go there! Yes get some homemade Italian food! Yes get fantastic service by a lovely person! Yes go back home holding your tray of goodness looking like the best depiction of Gollum. It is your precious... Your precious food! The portions are generous and the quality is there. Don't bother with other takeways and go there instead!
P.s. the photo is the aftermath of dinner... I could have eaten it all, but my gf threatened me with a plastic spoon as she wanted to keep some... I had no choice but to retreat. I'll go back to this place for more!
Amazing find. After football training, my kids were craving pasta and we stopped here and got takeout. My daughter loved both the pastas and ate my carbonara.

Excellent homemade Italian food in Sydenham/Forest Hill. You can't find better in London. Paola is a passionate and outstanding cook. The tomato sugo is top notch, but really you can pick anything from the hot food menu and you will be absolutely satisfied. Sad to see that the place will be closing soon. If you have the chance, visit before it's gone

Paola makes her food with heart and expertise, it's the best pasta and lasagne we've found in London without a doubt. She's made Forest Hill that much more liveable. A true gem.
Delicious ???? carbonara was banging. To be honest I thought the portion was small for £9.90 but it was so good. Thought it came with a salad but it didn’t. Definitely would recommend and use again BUT the portion are small for the price. Sorry ????
