This is my local filling station.I was disgusted the other day when due to the hole in the floor at the entrance door i went over on my ankle and fell to the ground.NOT one of the 2 colleagues came to my aid or even asked how i was! A huge thank you to the customer at the till who helped me up though.A bleeding elbow, knee and a black and blue ankle was the outcome. Customer service was so dissapointing.
Excellent garage with lovely staff. Plenty of forecourt room. No complaints from me.

I was actually writing a review for MURRAY'S, a new pet food shop, located on the same site as the Gulf garage, situated on the Glasgow Road in Dumfries.
What a wonderful shop, filled with a magnificent selection of not only food, but also medication for your pets. As you go in the entrance, you will be met by what looks like a life size model of a horse! That was a surprise!
Go down the stairs to the second floor where they have all sorts of items for your horses, houses for cats and dogs. A really wide selection of food, accessories and other bits and pieces, that are a 'must have' for your 5 or 2 legged pet and companion.
We had gone in for a certain brand of cat food, everywhere we normally buy it was out of stock. We happened to mention that we hadn't been able to find it, and the staff went out of their way to see if they could order it in. They called me the next day to apologise that they couldn't get hold of that type of cat food, and were SO apologetic!
The whole experience of shopping in MURRAY'S, was down to the wonderful staff, who were so friendly and went out of their way to help us.
I can't recommend this new pet shop, highly enough, and will definitely shop there again.

The staff at this garage were superb,nothing was too much trouble, I was looking for LPG, there seems to be a great shortage in Scotland, they didn't stock it anymore but went to great lengths by mobile phones, to find me a l
Place where they did stock it, after that they helped yet again, choosing a right SIM card for my mobile device, even fitting it for me.
If everyone was this helpful the world would be a better place.

Disappointing experience. One member of staff on site, who wasn't sure if we could fill up our cannister with lpg. When we enquired about buying a new cannister, we were told none of the twenty plus outside the garage were for sale.
