So often this car wash is out of order I thought surely in nice weather be working but no. Went to purchase £9 wash token told ‘it’s not working’. I said surely not again! She says well it’s working but I need to walk across and put a code in. I said can you not do that now? She said no. I said might you do it soon. She replied ‘when I get a chance’. When I arrived there was no one in the place at all. Unhelpful. Very undependable.
Things seem to be going downhill at this station.
Apart from the car wash still being longterm out of order I was unable to fill my tank to capacity due to the foaming of poor quality fuel.
Had to top off later at another station - 8 litres.
Does this herald [yet another] change of operator ?
Pleasant staff. Cheapest I've seen unleaded.
Just been in to get some cakes only to be very over charged. It turns out it was staff sales so beware your not paying for staff treats when paying by contactless. They then took so long to resolve the issue I walked out but still awaiting my refund so will need to return later when I have time but will NEVER use this garage again.
Bit more expensive than the asda down the road but accepts cash and Is open 24/7 so that's handy. Car wash there is good, they often have deals on. Last time I was there the compressor for tyres didn't work and nor did the water that cost me a pound to find out..
Really poor! Advertises 24 hour.. Big 24 hour sign in the window.. I get there at 11.10 all the lights are on it looks open I try to start at the the pump but the really rude assistant comes out and shouts at me that they shut at 11. No appolgy no explaination of why they are lieing in the advertising. Really shoddy service. They place also looks like a dump and prices are alot higher than other close by petrol stations
I usually use the car wash here, as it is reasonably-priced. Outside of supermarket petrol stations, this is one of the cheaper in the area, as Asda were selling unleaded @ 107.7p/L, and this station was priced at only 1p dearer.
The price advertised on the board was different to the more expensive price being charged at the actual pump. I alerted staff to this who assured me they would change it. I went back in approx 1 hour later and it had still not been sorted. I would say this should be a priority for customers and not just when staff feel like sorting it. I use this station every day as I drive for a living. I am still unsure of what the actual price should be but I’ll be going elsewhere in future.
