There was a time when this chemist was good, believe it or not.
But over the past 18 months it has gone downhill very quickly.
Today the service is abysmal, they refuse to answer the phone. I went there once and decided to ring them up and then go inside, after a while the woman behind the counter asked "can I help you"
I said, why do you never answer the phone, her reply was "We always answer the phone" I took my phone out and took it off silent, the phone could clearly be heard ringing out the back of the store and also on my phone, I just looked at her, she went bright red and ran out the back.
Now to put the icing on the cake, they no longer open on a Saturday. How ridiculous is that?
If there was a governing body to complain too, they would have been closed down by now.
why is no one answering the telephone I have rang all day Dec 4th , how on earth do we contact when you are house bound , and with out medication please someone tell me Catherine Nurse from Llanrumney Cardiff it seems you have to add a star to post.
Have been a customer of this pharmacy for many years.
Although everybody involved in the pharmacy, from Mr Bhogal, the pharmacists and staff are under extreme pressure, they are always very patient, polite, kind and considerate. Many thanks for the fantastic service all of you provide to my family in such difficult conditions.
I have tried to get a doctors appointment for 2 weeks without any joy. After 3 weeks of feeling like hell I called into the pharmacy and asked how to get a consultation with the pharmacist as by now my chest infection/ flu was the worst it had been. Within 5 minutes Mr Bhogal called me into the consultation room, listened to my problem, listened to my chest, and decided that I have an acute chest infection. I suffer with allergies and carry an Epipen and cannot take all antibiotics. He was so thorough checking my medical history and looking for suitable medication. He prescribed me something that was safe to take and 2 days in I feel much better already my cough has calmed down and I feel half human again.
I have read some of the reviews about having to wait in a queue at the pharmacy well maybe that’s because they are helping people who were desperate for healthcare like me. So next time spare a thought for the staff and what they deal with day to day. Pharmacists are now doing the jobs that GP’s should be doing I have nothing but admiration for them all. A massive thank you to everyone who helped me yesterday I can’t thank you enough and Mr Bhogal thank you for your kindness and compassion. You said you would help me and you were true to your word. Thanks to you I feel miles better. I am so grateful to you.
I can't fault them. They've been extremely good especially given the circumstances we were all in but through it all they still worked hard and were polite. Obviously it can be hard to be so nice to people all the time but they do try there best and that's all I can ask off people. Yes some staff can be a bit rude but you know what we don't know what is going on in people's lives. Just helpful, friendly and talkative staff, very nice and well kept pharmacy and lovely pharmacists dispenser staff and front line staff.
Thank you for your continued help and support through the pandemic and there after.
Not enough staff to serve you, went there on Wednesday afternoon waited over half an hour and I left in the end I was still 3 away from being seen as the only person serving went off to find a prescription. I went back later in the day and there were 2 serving still a long wait. The place has a lot of staff standing around talking as the queue gets longer. Boxes all over the place it used to be a very well organised place to get my prescriptions from, plus now they are closed on a Saturday that's no good to me it's usually my only time to collect my prescription.
They should seriously do something about the waiting times. It's a joke, no matter what time you go there there's always a line of people that goes to the actual outside of the building, waiting times are in excess of 30 minutes, that's no way to get your prescription, many people suffer from conditions that make standing for such long times painful. Either get more people or work faster, a lot faster.
Congratulations to the team! During such difficult times you are doing a sterling job.
Covid and leaving the EU has meant many problems with staff and supply shortages, yet you all keep going and remain polite and helpful.
Just standing in the shop area and watching everyone working so hard makes you realise just how hard things are currently.
Thank you to each and every one of you.
**UPDATE**
It is with great sadness we have been forced to move our medical needs to a neighbouring Health Authority.
This has meant we can no longer use this pharmacy.
A huge thank you to Mr. Bhogal, his family and all the staff for all their care and support over the years.
Good luck under the current trying conditions.
