I called today to book an appointment but was told I am an old patient who has not visited the dentist in 4 years. When i questioned do you not have to inform your patients first, the reception informed me that I can go to the NHS site as it is there. I Google NHS site which clearly states that your dentist should put it in write giving you 3 months notice.
I then informed the receptionist who then told me I am mistaken and that it is just the Grove Lane clinic rules.
I tried in covid lock down to see the dentist and was instead treated over the phone from the dentist who prescribed antibiotics, and a few weeks after had given advice on priking an abscess either in 2020 or 2021 due to covid you wasn't allowed to visit the surgery.
I have informed the receptionist that I will be taking this further with those above as I feel this is an injustice to all patients who are being treated in this manner.
I've been coming here for years .The staff and reception are fantastic .Their hospitality is excellent. My doctor is amazing always pleasant and helpful..
Been coming this dentist for a long time very good dentist very nice and helpful staff helped me sort out my teeth before my holiday in an emergency situation
Very poor service tried to book appointment for my children over the phone receptionist said come after school , but when we got there they said, we can’t see you in a rude tone. You are not welcome here. Total unacceptable. Not very professional. I don’t recommend this dental practice unless you want to be disappointed and have a bad day.
I had a treatment done today,I’m very satisfied with the service ,the staff is very welcoming and the doctor one of the best.Very happy with the service:)

Have been a patient for many years at this practice, the dentists have always been very informative and made me feel at ease. The general staff are friendly and welcoming. I find reception can be stern with missed appointments and make you aware of their failed to attend policy which i find to be justified working in the NHS myself. Ive never had any issues when ive cancelled with enough notice and on several occasions have been fitted in with an emergency appointment within days when ive been in pain. On these emergency appointments you are told you will have to wait to be seen if the dentist is busy though, which i think is fair. Overall very happy and stayed with this dentist depsite others being closer to were i live.
The best dentist practise around lovely customer service from the ladies on the desk dentist are polite and professional swift apointment times????
