Visiting from the black country and staying in a hotel, we wanted fish and chips. This was closest.
I was not disappointed!
The food is absolutely beautiful, fish was cooked fresh for us and the chips were cooked lovely!
Will definitely use this place again.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming and place is exceptionally clean!
I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the premises the staff are so polite helpful and helpful with any enquiries you have about allergies you may have I recommend everyone to at least give this impressive location a try you won't be let down their kebabs are second to none.
Only been last two weeks but excellent fish and chips compared with others in locality! Great fresh food and lovely , helpful staff ! Thankyou

Staff were friendly, order was handled well.
However, upon getting home, chips were only lukewarm, and honestly looked like lunchtime leftovers reheated. Very overdone, had texture as if they'd been fried then ovenwarmed for hours.
Fish had crispy batter, always a plus, and was freshly cooked to order, so was hot. Tasted okay. Price seemed expensive compared to quality of the food I received.
Took my twins for their first taste of ‘chippy chips’. We were served by such a lovely member of staff. Nothing was too much trouble - we were offered plastic forks, ketchup was provided in a separate little tub, and we were even allowed to perch on the window ledge while we scoffed them.
Twins declared they were tasty chips and requested another visit soon.

Visited today and had a great chat with the owner Baz and what a great guy.
First time we used this chippy and certainly won't be last. The food was well cooked and so tasty.
This is our new go to chippy.
The staff were super friendly and the whole place really clean.

The chips here are lovely. The only thing preventing me giving this plaice (pun intended) 5 stars is that I asked for a large battered sausage, only to be told they "don't do large battered sausages". Yet they do have small sausages, large sausages, and small battered sausages. So I don't understand the thinking behind this. I love a battered sausage, but a small battered sausage simply wouldn't cut it. If you don't "officially" do large battered sausage, surely you could make one on request?
Sorry, sounds petty, but it's these small things that customers remember. If I fancied a large battered sausage, I would have to go elsewhere. Which is a shame.
Walked in and ordered small chips. Small chips are 2.70 . Noticed she had put 3.70 through the till. I asked why and she said it's because they are having issues with potatoes. Agreed we all have issues bit charging £1 more a portion is just greed. If I hadn't of noticed she wouldn't of told me the price increase.
