Relatively small car park, I went through the week and arrived about 11am, parked without a problem, weekends I'd imagine are quite different. The roads leading up to here are very narrow and no possibility of parking on them at all
One of the most amazing and beautiful walks I had, the car park is small but we were lucky to find a place.
Great Car Park, 5£, to put in a letter box ????, when we visited on a weekday was almost empty, getting towards Lud’s Church it’s a 20 min walks. At the exit of the car park there are biscuits and scones home made to buy leaving the money in a box ????. You just feel the country side vibe everywhere ????
Great free car park in an ideal spot for visiting Lud’s Church. It fills up quick here so arrive early. It’s also a bit hard to find and has a tight one way lane to navigate.
A great free national trust car park, with access to paths which lead to the three Shires head and the direction towards the highest village in England - Flash, as well as paths towards lud's church and the Roaches, which have some great views on a clear day
The car park was full of cars. My car was as I left it when I returned. It was free. Really this was everything you could ask for in a car park, and more. The car park where dreams come true
Perfect location to walk to Lud’s Church. Car park is free but fills up quickly so best to go earlier in the day. Some drivers will leave their cars in some dubious spots so be cautious when parking, especially if you have a big car!
Great little car park, and allows overnight parking, so great for campervans. Quiet lane so not much noise. Gets very muddy after rain, especially the side beside the river. Provides the best parking if you want to climb up into Lud's Church (rather than climb down into it from the Roaches). It does get busy, especially in the summer, so arrive early!
