THIS PLACE IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM! I don't usually buy mithai from here but decided to give it a go. I bought half a kilo box of mithai and didn't realise they charge customers per box and not per weight. The lady who served me didn't explain this and charged me £8 for half an empty box! I don't mind paying good money for good quality food but their mithai were the worst I ever had. They were so dry and tasteless and some of mithai had a funny mouldy taste. It's obvious they were at least a few days old. I binned the whole box. This place needs to invest in good quality food and customer service especially with all the competition on Ilford lane otherwise it won't be long before you hear they've shut down.
Staff are very nice and friendly. I bought a bottle of mango lassi from there and it was very very good! Not too sweet! Perfect! ????
Who doesn’t like warm jalebi in the cold weather? It was fresh and wasn’t tainted by bad oil. New management/staff are friendlier and the bakery is managed better.
Great sweets and snacks. Specially the Kashmiri Chai(Tea). Excellent every time. Staff are always friendly. Love this place.
Whenever we are in Ilford - this is our go to place.
Probably the shop is not as appealing as the 'duplicate' across the road. But never disappointed. Whatever we tried - full marks.
Also - the staff is always friendly & welcoming - and accommodating too - to give the freshest possible product.
