Oh my god !! Homebound after a bike ride & a stop at Goodworths for the first time ..
Seen the lovely butchers & new deli for a while as biking past ..
Anyway, just want to say that the sausage rolls are just amazing !!

So today we decided to BBQ - given that the weather was so fabulous. Goodworths did not disappoint with their burgers and sausages. “Do you like to try something new?” I was asked, and I was introduced to their new venison sausages....... they were superb - so the answer to that question if ever asked again is “yes please !”. You know it makes sense people to stay local, support local businesses in every small way that we can. Thanks
Visit when I'm in Pontefract. Bought a beautiful tomahawk steak excellently prepared by the young and talented butcher. Cooked it today for Sunday lunch. Absolutely and utterly delicious. So anyone who visits Pontefract must go to Goodworths butchers, you will not be disappointed. Its next to the Haribo shop
The butcher was very friendly and helpful, all questions were very honest and helpful.
Good advice given for what we wanted.

Excellent quality meat! Friendly very helpful staff nothing is too much trouble for them. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my meat!!
Absolutely top class iv got a cafe/bar and I got a beautiful gammon from them it was amazing and my customers were more then happy thank u I will b a regular from now on as it was quality xxx
