Worst Chinese food I've had in a long time. I don't usually use this takeaway, and I won't use it again. I ordered a salt and pepper king prawn main course and got 5 prawns, on top of this the fried rice had an odd taste. The rest of the food wasn't great either, the chicken balls where soggy and so were the chips. At least half went in the bin. Very disappointed as I know it has recently changed ownership.
Food is amazing and the service is great but wasn’t best pleased to find this in my food. It’s like a small piece of metal. Could have caused a bit of damage.
I went to this place with some of my family the menu is a typical Chinese takeaway menu the place was a little rundown and they don't take card only cash and there was limited seats and it wasn't very big I would not suggest coming with a big group there was three of us it take about 15 to 20 minutes for it too be ready the food was typical Chinese takeaway food nothing special but a lot of the dishes were spicy but to summon it up simply is an average takeaway place nothing special accept all the food is spicy.
Good food, large portions and such a friendly lady on the desk and phone. Been going here for years but went to the one in rosneath for awhile but have come back to the Golden Valley as the food is better.
Please note this takeaway is CASH ONLY. It has been for years and will continue to be for some time I suspect - the little corner shop down the road has a free cash machine if needed. They are currently adhering to COVID guidelines and you need to order via phone and then wait outside for your food.
I have had lots of take aways all good. Friday night had friends to stay £100.00 take away was told 2 hours wait no problem had to phone 2hour 10 minutes to check on it 3hours later it came. Had to phone about order girl was very rude and did not stop sighing at me.????
Just not great, sorry but I have to be honest, no flavour to my meal which was a safety dish as it was my first time and it was tasteless. If you can't get curry right sorry I won't be back.
This little chinese take away is really discrete, you'd almost miss it! Only a counter and a lovely lady to take your order. Food is tasty and ready quickly. Rice comes in two portions, small or large. I ordered the small one which is a normal size.
Good quality, reasonably priced food and quickly prepared. Generous portions AND service with a smile. Yep, i'll give them 5 stars. Oh, and the man makes BEAUTIFUL fruit & veg sculptures in the front window.
