This was a great find when looking for something to eat after a day sightseeing. A good range on the menu at reasonable prices. The selection of ice creams alone was huge including ice cream that is dog friendly. Wonderful for our furry companion.

We ordered from the front window served by 2 very lovely assistants. They were both very helpful, chatty with smiles for everyone who came by while we were there.

The wait was about 15 minutes, but went quickly as we crossed the road to the beach side. We had ordered battered sausage and chips, which were freshly cooked. A huge portion of chips the box didn't close. We also had a portion of tomato sauce, each in a disposable pot that we tried to balance walking away.

I can honestly say it was the best battered sausage I've ever eaten. The chips were done to just how I enjoy them...so good we made another visit at the end of our holiday, the experience was exactly the same.

Plenty for your money, no bold claims about themselves, however had a line every time we passed, simple advertisements outside stating prices, a definite must in Ventnor.

Delicious ice cream! Great service from a young gentleman, who let me try a flavour before purchasing. They had sooo many flavours to choose from, there is definitely something for everyone. They sell dog friendly ice cream too!

Really lovely chips and amazing curry sauce. Big portions and reasonably priced. The staff were extremely friendly and the location was perfect.

Lovely service and humongous portions for a fair price. Loved the ice cream, rum and raisin was delicious. Just cross the road to the beach. They accept. Are payments, paid £7 for two double portions.

Not only does this place do great vegan ice cream - the service is brilliant!

On the night of Ventnor carnival, one of the members of staff was rushed off her feet but still managed to be really hospitable, fun and chatty (when we returned the next day!)

She really deserves a bonus!

We had 4 take away fish & chips and were bitterly dissapointed, as the fish was frozen, not fresh.

When we have Fish & Chips at the seaside, we expect the fish to be fresh, but were given frozen battered fish, which is not acceptable anywhere and especially not at the seaside.

We live in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, which is over 100 miles from the coast, we have 3 Fish & Chip shops and all serve fresh fish.
