Despite being cash only. Food was great. Fresh and hot. We ordered for 7 people and when we got home the order was correct. No complaints at all. Being using this Chinese for over 20years
I placed my first ever order with Golden Phoenix in Cantley tonight. I was quoted 40 minutes to an hour (usual takeaway delivery time) but it didn't arrive until 90 minutes had passed. I was ready to call them when the driver arrived. I started to unpack my order when i noticed i had been given the wrong order. My main dish was wrong. I promptly called them back and was told a replacement meal would be sent out to me in exchange for the wrong one. But to add insult to injury i received a call back to say id need to pay an extra 60p for the price difference! You've got to be kidding me. Surely as a gesture of goodwill this would be wavered especially after being kept waiting even longer while the rest of my order gets cold. But no, needless to say i will not be ordering from this establishment again, it's an absolute joke with no idea of what real customer service is!
Super fast deliver, driver really nice and polite, order spot on, amazing tasting food best veg rice ever included so much fresh veg, chips where hot and just great all round 5 star best one around the area my new no 1 now
Absolutely terrible, waiting longer than estimated time they said they was going to deliver it in. Also when arrived it was stone cold. Called them to express our dissatisfaction and they advised it would be half price next time we ordered, called up to place another order as thinking it was going to be half price and they have advised it is only 15%, I then advised it was okay we will leave it and the assistant rudely just ended the call. Terrible food, terrible prices and terrible customer service. Would not recommend.
I'd read some of the reviews that were very scathing regarding the food and service but decided that I would try for myself and make my own mind up. I am so glad I did as it was excellent, in fact one of the best round here!
The waiting time was about 45 minutes for pickup but the food was excellent ????, we will definitely go back.
Food arrived earlier than expected. Ordered without msg or onions and they accommodated. Nice hot food and reasonably priced. No complaints. Would use again.
Manager is very rude, they messed an order up, I had to go back to pick it up and basically he said it wasn't his problem, tried calling him back out so I could talk to him and he hid in the kitchen, coward. Very poor customer service, appalling manager, useless all round. Avoid at all costs, use Red Diamond on Carr House Road.
