Average. Cash only, only 1 person serving & trying to answer the phone (which explains why nobody can get through easily) not what I would look for on the menu so I had to ask for it which I've had twice now on completely different occasions but I only wanted to try here because everyone in the area said it is awesome but in my honest opinion it was average at best. I can only imagine the people that say that have never been to a good Chinese takeaway before. The staff were very nice but there was too much sauce & big lumpy vegetables instead of an appropriate size. The sauce wasn't the best tasting sauce I've ever had either. Prices are a bit on the high side which I wouldn't mind if it was 5/5 but I'd give this place a 3/5 tops. Often quite busy really too.
Went and placed our order. One meal we asked for a house special like mixed meat in a chilli sauce. Ie like black bean or hoi-sin sauce made hotter. The lady then said shreded chilli beef in it's spicy sauce with chilli chicken and prawns.
They called our number just as we sat down and I went to the counter as the 2 ladies behind it turned and walked off.
We assumed they'd called a wrong number.
When we got our meal home the sauce was sweet and sour but it was ridiculously sweet. . Prawns and meat were battered. Full of chunks of pineapple.
We rang up to say this is nothing like what the lady had described and definitely not advised of pineapple. When I said about the meat etc being battered her response was she'd shouted our number but we weren't there to ask. I had to tell her I went to the counter but she walked off!!!!!!!
She then argued with my husband over the phone that it wasn't sweet. How the hell would she know that without trying it!!!!!! Instead she thought it was a good idea to argue with a paying customer to the point of it being patronising...
So at that point my husband said to her just leave it we'll not come back.
The response was. OK. Fine. Thank you. Bye. So we hung up.

Has to be one of the worst Chinese I've ever had in my life
Mixed auderves - over cooked chicken skewers , over cooked spring rolls , over cooked ribs , burnt prawn toast , special fried rice only thing special about it is price special over prices and under flavored, ordered Cantonese style chicken balls got normal chicken balls , BBQ ribs with no meat on them , and finally salt and chilli chips all they we got was chips will chilli powder on (no pepper or onion or garlic or chilli) made a mistake going here won't make it again
Takes them ages to answer the phone and they need to update there opening hours on Google as they are not open to late some evenings but Google states 11pm but are closed earlier.
Ordered a chicken chow mein and there was very little chicken in the dish,I have complained before and the next meal was better but they go back to the old ways of being a scrooge the next order.
Lovely staff, very welcoming, clean and bright waiting area, food was spot on,
My experience was absolutely awful I order my food chicken balls in batter with curry sauce and shredded beef and plain noodles as I'm allergic to oinons amd he even had to talk it bk to me as he did not know what he was doing and then the person who served me came out with a chicken bull in a fryer pan and said is this is a chicken ball which I have never experienced in my life why does some one serving not know what they are selling I got the food home and it was awful the plain noodles had onions in which I'm allergic to and the other food was not edable so I have had to throw it in the bin so I wasted 21 quid of my hard earned money to just throw it in the bin will never go or tell people to go to this takeaway ever again I have never experienced such a poor service and food in my life
Special fried rice is about the best I've had anywhere
