Absolutely brilliant! Staff were really friendly, delivery was very quick and the food was hot and tasted fantastic.

Vile food from the Chinese, chicken tasted like rubber and was tasteless and salt and pepper chicken was soggy and nothing like salt and pepper chicken, head further up road if you want tasteful food.
Great Chinese for a great price. Will be going again soon. The chow mein ???? Drive up to Chepstow Castle if you want a nice place to eat once you’ve got your takeaway
First time here, really impressed. Everything cooked fresh to order. Honestly some of the best fish shop battered fish I've ever had and the chips were excellent. Very impressed will be back!
Food is fine, but they are so bloody slow on service. Looking at 15 mins just for a bag of chips!!
Knew about bad hygiene rating but thought id risk it with the chips, witnessed chef from out the back come into counter area with raw sausages in ungloved hands but then proceed to pick up cooked products and package them up for waiting customers without washing his hands!! Terrible cross contamination, will inform relevant people! And saw your reply, yes the sink is out the back as you say ... chef never went back out the back, he carried the raw stuff through with his bare hands then stayed in counter area serving up food WTHOUT going into the back to wash his hands!!!!
Happily once gave the Golden Fish Bar 5stars However I have to revise that now to a one star.
If I could give a zero I would.
The food I had this evening is disgusting. My Partner had Chicken and cashews which was tasteless and really bland. So bad She threw it in the bin.
I had Chicken and black bean sauce which was poorly cooked, chicken was tough and also very bland
We had a vegetable spring roll each, these very poured out of the wrapper they were so greasy , spring rolls are supposed to have a crispy shell. These were just an inedible mess.
I informed the staff by phone that We will never be back Which is a shame it had been a pleasure to get quality food from there in the past. This visit was horrendous.
Chips were dry and over cooked, it’s almost like there chips left over from the day before hurled back in the fryer.
