Had two portions of egg fried rice last night with two mains. Both were very dark and hard, neither had any egg in. The mains were fine.
I have used Golden City for years now. The last time I had a take away I had Sweet and Sour Pork Hong Kong style with Fried Rice. It was awful. So last night I thought I would give it another try with Chicken and Cashew Nuts and Fried Rice, a big big mistake reconstituted chicken cubes the whole dish was absolutely awful. Sadly I won’t be going there ever again after going for 25 years
Worst chinese I've ever had! Chicken was overcooked. Chewy and stringy! Fried rice tasted stale! Will not return!
Tasteless, waste of money. Never again!!
Been here twice in the last couple of months. First visit I had sweet sour chicken Hong Kong style. Fried rice good, but chicken batter was very soggy, left an oily coating in the mouth.
Decided to try once more.

Chicken curry and fried rice. Again fried rice ok. Chicken curry tasteless,
thin sauce. Very disappointed.
We tried China Garden takeaway . Was dire. We tried here tonight.

Well. Cubed chicken probably frozen, no taste of peanuts at all. Just gloopy tasteless sauce. King Prawn fried rice so bland . Desperately looking for a good Chinese in Brigg. I think I'll stick to making my own. Anyone saying it's great food obviously can't cook.
Great chinese takeaway , really enjoyed it
Very good! The order was ready in 25mins. We had two chefs specials and a chop suey dish which were delicious! Probably the best we've had for quite a while from any takeaway.
My food was delicious; they originally sent me the wrong food and I had to call up to get this changed. But when it was delivered the delivery driver was very apologetic and kind. Strangely they asked for the wrong food back but that didn't change my experience.
