I got this takeaway a few weeks ago now and I probably should've done this earlier to save people from coming here. The Chow Mein was tasteless. I have a suspicion that this was in-fact food colouring and not soy sauce, it had the look of decent noodles, but I had to add my own to make it taste of anything. If this isn't an indictment, I don't know what is? The Salt and Pepper Chips were soggy and sweet. I'm going off my experiences of them at other takeaways, where they should be crispy and spicy with lots of different flavours, not just sweet which turns into mush with the prod of a fork. I had high expectations based on multiple recommendations, however, unfortunately, this takeaway was a huge disappointment. Hope I was just unlucky to catch this on a bad day.
Put order in. Was still waiting 40 mins later. Rang them back said it was out for delivery. Waited another 10 minutes and rang back. Told them only 2 mins down road. The taxi went to wrong house. It came double bagged because it had already been back and re heated as we could tell as tasted awful. The taxi driver was a nasty person too. Very very bad. Never again!
Very poor flavours, the food is not seasoned it’s just spicy. wet batter on seafood. Overall poor experience.
Best Chinese in Nelson and surrounding areas everything I have ordered is spot on, no take away around here comes anywhere near!
Lovely food, always quick but chips aren't always great rather bitty n dry and ribs in sauce delicious but serve in an unsealed tray so all the sauce ends up in you bag
Hurrendouw food rice mushy curry sauce like sweet sauce and salt n pepper chips drenched in sweet sauce wast of money pathetic place
Always pleased with their food. Very reasonable prices and don't have you waiting long
