Was very pleasantly surprised with this little Chinese takeaway.
Food was very delicious and much better than I was expecting. Ribs are very tasty and huge portion. I liked the capitol ribs.
The squid had a good taste, was a bit chewy but it’s a takeaway.
Chow mein noodles were both tasty (pork and beef) and made fresh super hot.
We went in 10 minute before closing and they were very happy to take our order and made it all fresh.
Was made in under 10 mins.
They were very friendly.
The portions are big and great value. The prices are very cheap. Also very large menu

Golden Bowl's food is fantastic - Food is very tasty and the price is cheaper than everywhere else. This is the first time I bought a takeaway from here. I stay in different hotels in different places, came across Golden Bowl tonight with my friend, we both thought we would give it a go, the owner is so friendly with big smiles. She makes you feel so welcome. I ordered Tofu with black bean sauce, Singapore rice noodles and Boiled rice, my friend had beef with green pepper and black bean sauce and mini spring rolls. We are totally blown away with how good the food is. I am a Chinese, I’ve had so many Chinese foods obviously but, I’ve got to say, I loved it. I will definitely come back again when I next come to hythe.

After reading reviews I decided to give this Chinese ago, great pancake roll, then we get to the chicken curry, wow terrible powdery and salty taste. I threw all away after a few pieces of chicken, 24 hours later and my tummy is still on a boat. I really thought about driving back and sorting this issue as the curry was the worst I’ve had not sure what everyone else have been eating from here but never again.
Not what it once was. The lady is very rude and the food was poor. Never again

Usually very happy with what we get but not today sadly. Pork balls very chewy, Chicken & Mushroom very salty & only 2 bits of onion in whole dish. The samosas were missing & so was the small curry sauce (We did pay for them ) There appeared to be chaos in the shop as another lady got chased with some thing left off her order then she came back for missing sauce
We always have lovely food from here. Plentiful enough for 2 to share. I have tried all the others around, but noone has a patch on the quality of these. Best in town by afar.
Used to be great but three times this year they have messed up the order, twice with the wrong food and once not putting it all in the bag. This means returning to the shop to have it corrected. Each time their attitude has been terrible. No consideration is given for the customers inconvenience. The last time they were refusing to correct the issue I told them I wouldn't be coming back (I've been a customer for nearly 20 years!) They relented and sorted the problem. Tonight we went there for my birthday and again the food was wrong. They refused to change it and said it was our fault as they had changed the menu! They blamed us for using an old menu but never told us there had been any change when we ordered! We won't be returning! We went to Chen's garden to get the rest of our food! Should you wish to try this place check your order before you leave!!! Personally I would say go to Chen's garden in dymchurch road. They were great!
