Without fail, this pharmacy does not answer their phone… the usual message is:
‘ due to unusual high volumes of calls we cannot answer’, then you are cut off… no matter what time or what day…you will get the same message.
When you do go to the pharmacy, however, the staff are pleasant.
I was advised over the phone that my prescription was ready for collection and when I went to the pharmacy, the staff member advised that my prescription was not ready yet and asked me to wait. I am extremely disappointment with the poor service.
First time here and came for a blood test.
What a great place.
The lovely Joanne, who took my blood, was friendly, efficient, and professional. I even got a sticker for being brave ❤️ (and I’m 61).
Timings were spot on. There’s a small bench to sit on to wait but if you turn up at the specific time you shouldn’t be waiting much at all.
It’s a small but well stocked pharmacy where I also picked up some toiletries. Nice staff in the main shop too.
Fairly swift moving parking so parked almost outside.
Recommended.
I would leave a A five star for this Chemist only reason I have given them a four star is they are very hard to get hold of when you are ringing them. The line is always busy and they do not give you an option to leave a message.
Had a blood test booked today. What great service, I have never been here before. I would definitely be using again and would recommend my family and friends. The lady who took my blood I believe her name was Janet, (I hope I have that right) :) made me feel like a person and not a number!! Thank you, to all keep up the great work.
Lovely staff. Understood my situation and solved my problem in less than 5 minutes. Listened with compassion. Thank you so much for all of your hard work. This hasn't gone unnoticed ????

I recently popped in for a blood test and I was very happy with the process. The staff responded quickly when I arrived and made sure everyone was socially distanced, the clinician herself was professional as well as lively and engaging. She was considerate of my eczema and explained the process in detail, given that I'd never had a blood test before.
The only thing stopping me from giving this charming pharmacy 5 stars is the lack of directional signs on the floor to provide a 1-way system. Not a major concern and one that's only relevant in the current climate, there was hazard tape on the floor demarcating 2 metre zones and adequately spaced seating , however, when people entered the pharmacy, they would pass within half a metre of one of the waiting zones.
Admittedly this is a minor concern under normal circumstances and it's also difficult given the size of the branch as it's very compact, however, under the current Covid-19 situation, I feel this would have been an improvement.
Aside from that, the branch was well lit, clean and the products well displayed, the staff were knowledgeable and clearly engaged with their customers as they remembered an elderly gentleman when he entered and greeted him by name.
