Absolutely recommend these guys after having them suggested to me. Very approachable, accommodating and I felt that my pride and joy was in safe and knowledgeable hands. There was excellent communication and after my service and check up everything was explained clearly and thoroughly. The receipt from these guys consisted of evidence photos and videos all sent through on WhatsApp, it is the most in depth receipt I have ever had and I very much appreciate the time and effort these guys put in.

I met Lewis at a track day a few months ago, straight away we hit it off with our love of all things Fast Ford.
Also knowing ST180s back to front he was the obvious choice to work on my mk7 Fiesta ST as a service was due.
As promised he contacted me to say he could fit me in today (19th Dec) at short notice and advised a spark plug change as well. All the work was carried out professionally and (as we chatted all things Ford) everything was fully explained throughout. It’s great to meet someone who’s enthusiastic, cares about the standard of his work and has a real passion for what he does. He makes a decent brew too! Needless to say GM Tyres and Autocare are the only choice now to work on my car and I’d recommend Lewis and Amy (the real boss!) to anyone.
Amazing job.stripped seats down,rewired airbags correctly, so no lights on dash,wired in the heated parts from st180 seats,and converted the bottoms to fit my st180.
10/10.Localish too so he now has another regular customer to add to his collection.
Recently had my car in for a remap, excellent service, was talked through everything step and test driven once completed to make sure everything was in tip top condition. Would highly recommend lewis at gm tyres & autocare
Took my 2016 Fiesta ST to Lewis for a Laird stage 1 map and a health check. The performance is absolute night and day difference over standard now. 230bhp in one of these is no slouch.
Health check was also quite thorough for £99 which including a smoke test, compression and bore scope test, and a general look over the car confirming it was overall as tidy as I suspected.
100% best garage around! Wouldn’t take my car to anyone else, Would recommend to all, Lewis knows his cars inside and out, always helpful and reliable. Brilliant garage!

So ... ive had alot of mechanical work carried out over various places over the past 3 years and Lewis at GMTyres is by far the best he has extensive knowledge and thinks outside the box to solve problems most mechanics never even considered , the prices are within fair range, i dont tend to go there much anymore soley due to distance and time but when it comes to all big jobs i would not go anywhere else
