I just wanted to give a shoutout to the amazing staff at the pharmacy in Gloucester! They were incredibly helpful and friendly during my visit.
They took the time to answer all my questions and provided excellent service. I really appreciate their expertise and the positive experience they created. Highly recommend
I recently visited Glevum in Gloucester, and I was really impressed with the staff there! They were friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help me with my needs. It made my experience so much better, and I would highly recommend this pharmacy to anyone in the area.
Its such a shame that some of the staff here really do try to help but its just so poorly run. Whenever we need to pick up our prescription or are referred by the GP here, we sigh with dread at the thought of another unsatisfactory wasted journey. It just should not be that way with your GP practice's pharmacy should it? I really don't like complaining but I have a young family and I want our healthcare service to be at the very least... dependable.
My partner was in your store on Wednesday evening at roughly 10pm with a prescription from the hospital for our heart baby who required some specific medication. The lady who took the prescription informed my partner that the medication in question would not be found in any pharmacy as it takes a few days to order in. Upon this information she immediately took it upon herself to get the situation sorted promptly by contacting the on duty pharmacist from the hospital to inform her of what was happening. Such an amazing response to a medical emergency. So very thankful to her for sorting a resolution for our son to be able to get his very important medication.
This place need trained staff. So I left my prescription at 18:28 and now at 20:04 they are not capable to handle to me. I am with almost 39° is a antibiotic and I can't leave it for tomorrow so yeah "thanks" to the manager . And is not the first time . And after if you go to ask 2 3 times after almost 2 hours going back and forward they call you probably after agresiv so you have to stay quite and accepted to be trated this way
Awful experience. Was advised to speak to a pharmacist regarding my cough and pain. Was told 5mins when I entered only to wait 20mins... while waiting I notice other people also getting FOBBED off with the same 5minutes.... that more like 15mins.
When eventually the pharmacist came out to speak to me she rude asks her colleague "who want to see me?" She looks at me rudely Then speaks to me openly infront of everyone instead of taking me to the private room by entrance.
And rather than asking me questions, just fobbed back to to doctors..... the doctors sent me to you!!
DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. I will be changing where I collect my and my family prescription from now on, 1 experience I will not forget.
There's no option to give zero stars so one star it has to be.
If you want to run a well organised, customer-facing business then look at these guys .... and then apply the opposite!

I went to get just one urgent medication for my mother who was dying. The girl behind the counter said it wasn't there (the GP had earlier confirmed the pharmacy had it). I asked them to check again. At the point, the pharmacist, tall woman with a very loud voice decided to get involved and aggressively told me they didn't have it (she hadn't checked!!). I said my mother needed it urgently as she was in her last hours. The pharmacist then decided to lecture me very loudly about how many years she had trained to become a pharmacist etc etc completely ignoring my mother's situation....evil, arrogant woman!! I left before I got too angry. My mother passed away at 1.15am the next morning, never having received her meds!! Avoid this place and that pharmacist!!
