This place is shocking!! Way too over priced for the food you get!! Service is shocking. One of the workers was extremely rude and wasn’t any help.
She was ordering all the other workers around but not helping she is a poor example of an experienced retail worker.
I wouldn’t recommend eating here.
One gentlemen waiting 1hr for bacon and poached eggs on toast came out with scrambled and refused to change it.
Also my friend has an allergy to beans. They wouldn’t let him swap this item but was happy enough to charge full price for the meal
Glanusk Cafe is always a busy place with lots of vehicles parked outside. So today we stopped for lunch. There was indeed a busy crowd waiting to be served but we found a very pleasant table in the corner away from the bustle. The extensive menu is a good cafe selection all very reasonably priced. They even have an OAP special lunch offer. Our order did take a little while to arrive but perfectly acceptable bearing in mind how busy they were. Between us we had soup, panini , cottage cheese bake and a scone. All very good quality. Will definitely be back. Oh and you could use the laundrette machines whilst you ate!
Not good food. Sausages were raw. Okay prices. Very bad service. The woman who works behind the counter is very rude and abrupt. Completely put me off ever going back. Place would be better off without her. I also heard the table next to us mentioning the same thing. Tap water also tasted like it came from stream outside. Finally, £2 for a slice of toast is a joke.
Fab all day breakfast. Lovely outside seating area. Very clean.
My favourite part of a long drive home is the stop here for food. I can not express how much I love the food and service provided when dinning. If I could give you more stars I would. You sell the best Vegetarian breakfast I have ever had, and nothing will top it.
Stopped for a takeaway latte. The kid who made it clearly didn't know what he was doing. The espresso machine was either faulty or programmed incorrectly, and dispensed possibly the shortest shot of espresso I've ever seen (probably no more than 15ml). It did so in approximately 1-2 seconds, suggesting the grind was too coarse as well. He then managed to heat the milk without texturing it, so what I was served was essentially very hot, thin milk, with a tiny hint of coffee.
I would have complained at the time, but I was running late, and couldn't try it until it had cooled down.
(I've rated 3/5 because I've had nice food from here in the past. The coffee was 1/5.)
Called in late afternoon and were lucky to still order meals.
Food arrived quickly, presented well and lots of it.
Best scampi for a long time.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Get there early, as we arrived at 13.15 for lunch, I was disappointed that some items had run out. I wanted a jacket potato with prawns with reserve choice of a cheese burger. Sadly no prawns and my family had bought the last two burgers. I opted for jacket with mayo chicken and bacon.
Al food was excellent especially the two Glanusk bacon & cheese burgers with chips and I was not disappointed with my 3rd choice. Our dog was allowed with us on the outdoor tables. Essentials shop and clean toilets.
