Gills were recommended to me by a friend because his family had used them for many years. They checked over a used car that I had purchased from a private seller and they were honest about what needed doing on the next service and before the MOT. Cannot fault them at all.

I've been a customers of Gills Garage for a few years now after one of my very good friends recommended them.
They are very local and only a short walking distance from where I live in Townhill Park in the Bitterne area and also on the bus routes so they are easy to access.
Gills are a very good family run garage,always very friendly and very helpful and if I ask them to for any reason I'm unable to drive or incapacited will collect my car and return it after its had a service or work done on it or an MOT etc.
So I would fully recommend Gills Garage,so just give them a try and find out.????????

I've lost count of the times Gills have offered more help and knowledge than the bigger dealers. Called with a problem today with my electric wing mirrors and although not their area of expertise they still offered advice over the phone and invited me to swing by if I had any trouble and I managed to fix the issue. The dealer had wanted to charge me £50 diagnostics with a 2 week wait to be seen! This is why I return to Gills again and again, I would rather give the local company the business and who wouldn't when the service is so much better!
