Whilst visiting York a few weeks back I was desperate to find a Chinese Takeaway with good reviews but also affordable prices and found this amazing takeaway! Easily one of the best Chinese takeaways i’ve had in a long time.
I placed my order on the phone for collection, around an hour before closing, and they were ready for collection 15 minutes later and the food was perfect, hot and fresh. Once again, the prices for the portion sizes are brilliant! It would be double the price down south!
Though I will note they only take cash so please be prepared for that! Definitely worth a trip to the cash machine!

Let me start by saying, this is the first Google review I have ever written however I feel very strong about this so here it goes.
Having recently moved to Hook I was struggling to find an edible Chinese takeaway, last night I came across this place and after reading the reviews I thought it’s gotta be worth a shot.
Let me just say, not only is this the BEST Chinese in the area but possibly in the whole of Yorkshire, a total flavour bomb. The food brought tears to my eyes and made me fall in love with Chinese food all over again. It was a swan song in culinary excellence.
I ordered a crispy chilli chicken which had the perfect combination of flavours and the chicken was ACTUALLY CRISPY. Furthermore, I had the vegetable chow mein (also very tasty) spring rolls and fried rice all of which was fresh and delicious and at a very reasonable price.
The food has a gravitational pull that makes me want to stay here forever. I may have to look for another job so that I can afford to eat here everyday.
I would consider myself a Chinese connoisseur having tried countless takeouts up and down the country but this place takes the cake, I cannot stress enough how good this place is.
Staff were very kind, friendly and attentive and I look forward to eating here again very soon.
Get your fill guys, you won’t be disappointed. Trust me, it’s Delicious.
Service was friendly and fast. Food is really tasty, not too greasy just perfect.
The rice and noodles were cold and didn’t taste very nice the mixed starter was very greasy overall not very nice. The girl who was on the desk was very rude, won’t be going back!!!
Very tasty food, super quality, no long waits and lovely staff.
We order from here fairly regularly and always enjoy the food. Friendly staff and good value too.
