Beware of this company! had a turbo fitted that lasted about 2 weeks and wouldn’t warrant their turbo.didn’t clean the induction side of the car, so had to run it for about 20 miles bellowing blue smoke till it cleared.
The turbo lasted about another 5 days after that. So I decided to remove the turbo to find the turbine wheel had snapped off ????♂️. I ordered a genuine melett core that comes with traceable codes etched on the core. On stripping the turbo that they supplied and fitted for the cost of about £1400, it has Chinese internals ???????????? no wonder they don’t want to warrant their parts ????????. They should change the name from German car specialists to “ Great Wall “

Known both of these guys over 20 years, all my own cars serviced there only hiatus was past company cars. Mark and Chris are better than any Main dealer for anything on the road. Now my son drives, his car is also going to them.
Straight to the point, no technicalBS, great on pricing and call you if anything unexpected comes up. Always busy which is a great sign of a good garage. Highly recommend.
Grate experience with the guys at German Car Specialist, had my Audi S5 in with them to do a supercharger belt and and drive belt and they completed the job in a timely manner and was friendly in the process will definitely to visiting again
I’ve been taking my Golf V5 and subsequently my Audi TT to these guys for about 15 years now and I wouldn’t take it anywhere else. They always give helpful & expert advice and they make sure I only get the annual service I need unlike dealers who try to impose a full service on you every time. Helpful, friendly, accommodating, and honest.
Avoid at All Costs
My encounter with german car specialist was a complete disaster from start to finish. After enduring a torturous three-week wait for an appointment, I was met with incompetence and indifference. Despite clearly outlining issues with coolant leakage and a clicking noise, the garage failed to address them properly. They conveniently denied the existence of the clicking noise and then had the audacity to inform me that they needed to order parts, with no regard for my time or inconvenience. To add insult to injury, they couldn't even provide a reasonable timeframe for scheduling repairs, citing weeks-long backlogs.
It's infuriating to think that in the time wasted dealing with that car garage,I could have found and repaired my car elsewhere. Their utter lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction make them unworthy of your time and money.
Used these guys a few times to service and repair my A7. Every time I’ve been they’ve been spot on. Recently repaired a coolant leak that I’ve been putting off for a while. Great guys and reasonably priced. Thank you.
I’ve been a customer since of this company with two cars which they have serviced and done repairs for in the last 18 months. They had also quoted me for major service work which they suggested I had done in January. That bill would be comfortably over £1000. Today I drove from Campsall to the site because an amber engine warning light had appeared. They refused to look at the problem unless I stumped up £50+ vat just to plug the car in. Had I been new to the business I could understand but as a returning customer? Really?
My future business will be going elsewhere.
My audi TT had major issues the other year and these guys did in 1 week what other mechanics failed to do in months they identified the problem addressed it and ran me through step by step what they had done, same again this year I took it they sorted it in a few days pulling like a train again! just effortless to deal with professionals who know they're stuff with German cars keep up the good work ???? highly recommend????
