We were searching for a German Breakfast and we definitely found it.
Big Breakfast is to take seriously, Salami, smoked raw ham, Liver paste and a slice cheese with two dark grain Bread rolls and 1 whole Wheat Bread roll, 2 Eggs, Orange juice 185thb.
Don't be irritated the picture shows the meat platter from 2 person but still a bug amount.

His Thai wife is unfriendly (therefore one star is deducted).
The large breakfast for 185 Baht was very good and filling.
Hammer Käsekuchen! Und auch die frischen Weihnachtsplätzchen, alles sehr sehr lecker. Ein freundlicher Besitzer mit Tradition - hier gibt es Deutsche Backwaren schon seit Jahrzehnten. Vielen Dank für das Stück Heimat zum Mitnehmen. ????

Wer hier nicht hin geht, hat was verpasst.
Nicht nur Der Kösekuchen ist spitze, auch das Frühstück ist der Hammer ! Brot und Brötchen vonneiner tollen Qualität, wie msncsie und Deutschland kaum noch so bekommt. Und ein Kaffee der schmeckt.
Alles mit liebe zubereitet mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
A no frills place, visited mostly by local expats and foreign travellers. The Mekong is an air-line 50 mtrs away, about 200 mtr walk. The owner, Rudy, is bringing German bread, cakes and other goodies for the community here From 7.00am till 2..3..4pm. depending on the customers, you can have breakfast and lunch here at reasonable prices. Rudy is a nice German man, always in for a Chat, also giving information about Nong Khai and the life over here. Cakes to order (Birthday, Marriage or other..) are possible, just talk to Rudy. Rudy's Bakery is on the backside from the Nong Khai hospital, about 150 meters West from the Mutmee Guesthouse.
