This used to be amazing, but now it's the worst chip shop there is. The chips are hit or miss, sometimes they're dry and taste like they've been sitting there all day, to the extent that even frozen chips taste nicer. Other times, they're decent enough but still mediocre at best. One of the men is definitely abusive, he messes your order up and then blames you for it. They only care about money and nothing else. I asked for a side salad and it was assumed I wanted everything when I've never explicitly said that and every time I went before that, I've always stated no onions or tomatoes. Plus, they normally ask when they're about to dish it up, this time he didn't ask whatsoever. Instead of taking accountability like any good staff member would do (and do do), he proceeded to blame me (a paying customer) as he only wanted money and didn't want to waste food. This is the most unprofessional experience I've ever had with anyone. Also I paid for two saveloys but I only got one, this has happened a few times now but I think it's unacceptable now, especially when it was a thirty minute wait and it's starting to feel like they're purposely messing up and charging me for two just to give me one. So if you want to be overcharged, blamed for something that's not your fault, only seen as money rather than a person and an unpleasant experience with a long wait all for mediocre food, then this place is for you. But if you want an actual professional place, with decent food and treats you like an actual person than I highly recommend The Captain's Fish & Chips (captain cod). It's just five minutes from this hell hole so do yourself a favour and go to captain cod instead.
Rude staff. Tonight was the final straw, they purposefully made me a large portion, to charge extra money then grumbled when I said that I didn’t want a large portion. I wont be going back after that. It is filthy in there and the chips were poor.

Cod was dry and warm temperature batter was tough and not eatable chips are usually lovely but again dry felt like it has been cooked and standing to keep it warm for a long time very very poor
Doner kebab- Large for 14.50 pounds arrive just meet and bread, no sauce no salads, and half of standard large size compare to other places, never again!
Dry chips kebab meat okay. Doesnt even do chilli sauce, just chilli ketchup spoils the kebab
Personally...just terrible. The fish was sloppy again, chicken nuggets were hard and very little meat to them. I got their curry sauce, well I think it was curry sauce, it had no taste at all but it was the consistency that did it, it was like pouring lung batter from a 60 a day smoker out. I'm done with this place now after giving them more than a few chances. But you decide for yourself.
Really disappointed with the fish and chips. The batter was undercooked and rubbery like a thick pancake you could actually peel off the fish fillet. The cod itself didn’t really taste or have the texture of cod. Chips were ok just a bit greasy. We had heard good reviews but unfortunately not tonight.
