Really poor Sunday dinner, meat tough as old boots and a teaspoon of mash. Paid extra for meat but didn’t feel as though i got any extra, just on a bigger plate. Weird red cabbage that dissipated into the gravy and was meant to come with horseradish but it was nowhere to be found. Staff were lovely, service quick but really disappointing experience.
Very nice place, but we arrived on quiz night so we're taken through to back room which looked very nice but were asked if we could leave before 7.30 as quiz started then. So not quite a pleasant time or experience.
Overall very poor experience. Told to order on the app but half the options from the menu weren't on the app, so ordered at the bar but then informed items on the app weren't available, just the menu - so why have the app in the first place? After all of that the food took over 45 minutes to arrive and several orders were incorrect. The food itself was very basic and lacking in flavour, small serving sizes. Bar staff were friendly and the only positive was it being dog friendly. For the price it's not worth it and I wouldn't visit again.
We had a Meal and Drinks and bearing in mind we are from Nottingham we requested our Relatives to book a Table for us as we had been to The Old Ashdean before and enjoyed our Meal then .
Had Christmas Day Lunch here and the food was perfect. Not keen on where we were sitting as we were a late service and we were the only ones in that area of the pub. Dessert was the best I've ever had. I need to find out if it's on the main menu
Nothing to complain about. Timely service. Goid food and reasonably priced
They have changed the menu, not as many established British meals.

Great steak as usual, done as requested. All meals came pronto and were exelent. Love this place. George & Jacquie.
