Lovely food and staff. Just the place is cold ????
Poor food, didn't feel I was valued as a customer. I asked to have a mixture of turkey and pork for my 'fresh' roast of the day. Told that couldn't be done. When the food arrived, I had to keep my disappointment hidden. A big plate with hardly any food on it. The potatoes were clearly not fresh, the tiny flat yorkshire puddings were not tasty at all and hard. Carrots for veg as I don't have peas. Hard and no flavour. The turkey wasn't great and I couldn't understand why they couldn't put pork on either. No customer service, put the food down and just turned away. Clearly knew the standard was low. Definitely won't be eating there again, a meal deal would have been better.
Food usually amazing but last order the food was not hot and missing part of order, lack of customer service rudeness from staff when we rung to tell them
I never give one star and always try and look for the good in a place and never mention the bad . Food was above average but the lady serving me has no concept of the word customer service . While waiting for our food we can hear her screaming at the staff in the kitchen . Wasn't a good experience ,this is going to to the first and last time I will ever be there
Very slow service, placed an order well in advance and it was an hour late. Food was OK - eventually.
Just had the most outrageours delivery driver ever little guy in a hat supposedly the owner of Gavins Wok & Grill in Haverhill. First we waited over an hour as stated on the phone ordered at 6:30 delivered at 8:10 .
I said to the driver I am only going to pay £20 (£23.50) was the amount he snatched the food out of my hands which dropped on the floor and then started shouting saying if your only going to pay £20 you cant have it and then decided we can have the stuff on the floor. I have never seen a delivery driver that aggressive and he was incredibly rude. All he had to do was have a conversation not snatch and shout and swear.
GAVINS WOK AND GRILL have lost a customer for life If I was an elderly person or vulnerable it would of been a frightening experience .
Anyone who orders from them dont try to short change them they get nasty very quickly.
