I had the amazingly tasty special the Mozzarella and Pesto Grilled Cheese. Service was very good and I didn’t have to wait long - the food was made fresh and that showed in the taste.
The Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri was an excellent choice of drink as well. Always a very worth while trip to Gather.
Visited for breakfast with my husband and a friend in between Christmas and New year ,we were staying in Carnoustie . the place we usually go was closed . What a find ..breakfast food was lovely , freshly cooked, good menu choices .I had the poached egg avocado and bacon on sourdough bread , it was delicious, my husbands bacon roll had 7 rashers on it .he said its the best bacon roll he's had anywhere . So good we went back for breakfast the following day before we returned home .the lunch menu looks good too .We will def be back next time we visit .one small criticism they could do with some better ventilation as the windows were all steamed up , it was very cold when we visited ..
Very lovely food, nice comfy seats at the booth tables, I had the green smoothie it was outstanding, much better than Fuel, I also had the deluxe Nutella hot chocolate and this was very creamy and rich. They offer fair prices for their food menu. It is a lovely spot for brunch and it is definitely the only good lunch place in Carnoustie, everywhere else is bad but this is just amazing, servers were lovely as well, we tipped well ????????
Gather is great. Lovely food and friendly staff, who were really accommodating of us just turning up. Highly recommend this place.

Brilliant cafe here. I had kale and split pea soup, with a tomato muffin that was so light it almost floated. Excellent coffee. Service most welcoming and efficient. Not in the least bit sweaty, unlike most cafes here. The quiche and rice salad looked excellent but too much for my needs.
Went in for coffee and ended up having brunch. Lovely home baking and staff. Would thoroughly recommend
Definitely the best place to eat in Carnoustie. Everything is freshly made. Lovely atmosphere. Staff are so polite and welcoming.
