This is the worst place you could ever order from, the chips are barely cooked, the chicken is just about cooked and the service is absolutely horrendous. The person at the front was so rude and honestly the rudest person i’ve met, there was a school student there casually just standing and talking to his friends and i overheard the person at the front say the most racist thing to the boy and said to him “ chinese boy come order” I was shocked to the reason how that could have happened to anybody and that school student just experienced racism. The boy replied saying “What? why did you call me that” and the person at the front just got even more horrible and said to the boy to get out and just leave his friends.
This place has to be the worst place, just go to morley’s 4 shops away.
Honestly - it’s a chicken shop. Chips don’t slap but chicken is decent. Your bun is gonna get hit with some grill. No takeaway mayo and ketchup so say before you leave.

Disgusting service, I didn’t get the man’s name of face but the attitude this man gave me was incredible. I had my dog with me, I went inside to order and I was going to wait outside knowing that usually they don’t let dogs inside food shops. Once I saw out was getting ready I went to inside, it wasn’t our food so me and my mate sat down to wait the extra 20 seconds we waited until the name gave us the food. In those 20 seconds we waited this man was stressing and being extremely rude towards me. I asked for a refund and he said “no refund, food is already done” so I just got my drink and left. This is my local Chichen and chip shop. And it’s not the first time I get attitude from the same man. I understand policy and legal rights about dogs being around food, but there a much nicer way to tell me to wait does extra 20 seconds outside….
Asked very clearly for one meal. He charged me for two and I only saw just after I paid. When I said I had only ordered one meal he refused to refund me and charge me for the correct order. Don’t come here - even if they charge you correctly it’s expensive and the chicken is not good.
Ordered chicken and chips. The food was ok, but I was a bit concerned about their hygiene. Noticed the guy who served me took his cap off to scratch his head, then used a dirty looking yellow cloth to clean the counter surfaces. He didn't wash his hands afterwards until I asked him to! Then he used a grubby looking green cloth to dry his hands, which rather defeated the purpose of washing them! Fortunately, I didn't feel ill the next day, but it does make me wonder what they do when customers aren't present...
I worked at KFC and I regularly eat fried chicken. This was honestly one of the worst I've had in a while. The crispy coating lacked flavour and the chicken itself didn't taste fresh at all. The only good thing is the spicy wings. Good level of spice and crunchy coating. Was the only place at 2am though ????
Left my card there and they took £31 of my bank account and won’t give me my money back. I partially blame myself for accidentally leaving it there but I should be able to get my card back and my money which I had never spent there .
From reading reviews it is clear that this business has a practice of overcharging customers for food. This is fraudulent activity that I will be raising with Trading Standards
