Phones always engaged, was emergency medication I needed. Rang over and over no answer. It's like they've got phone off. Friend rang too over and over and no answer. Rang me back 2 days after my emergency at which point it wasn't an emergency anymore.
The person who as answered the phone today needs to go to charm school ,so abrupt how spoken too not the first time it's a shame as most staff are polite and so is the delivery lady.
So helpful. Penny who works on the weekend went above and beyond to make sure my husband got the medication he needs. Lovely lady.
Between 3.30 -5.30 pm on April the 6th 2024 rang 4 times,engaged all that time,I find that hard to believe,I wanted to ask the Pharmacist about a medication.????
This used to be an excellent pharmacy. I recommended it highly to everyone that needed a pharmacy especially for late nights and weekends.
Over the last year the pharmacy has gone downhill at an alarming rate. Items out of stock on a regular basis, time after time.
"Come back in 2 days, we might have it", after allowing a week for them to prepare the prescriptions in advance, with no communication that they're out of stock.
Giving out insulin that expires in a week.
Being told that the medication you've had from them for years has gone up in price, so they're no longer getting it in because they won't make enough profit on it, so you'll have to get your doctor to sort it (they did, and I got it from another chemist that wasn't just profiteering).
Being refused acute prescriptions sent from the doctor several hours earlier, and told to come back in a day or 2, when it was right there on the shelf behind them.
90% of the staff are amazing, and it pains me to write this review after the help they've offered. However some staff don't care one bit, and it's those ones that let their colleagues down.
From 24th July 2023 they're reducing their opening hours. How that helps with their backlog, and serving their customers I don't know. I can help with this though, as I've now changed to a different pharmacy for the 15 items a month that my family require.
48 hours for a repeat prescription no arguments about that it’s shocking.
Good pharmacy, though very, very busy. Has outgrown this small area and needs more staff as they are constantly running to keep up.
Great staff in place, but expansion is needed urgently.
Tried calling since 12 it is now 2 pm and phone is still engaged like its been switched off
