We had a lovely evening in this cozy pub. It’s a very short stroll up a lane from the chapel. The food was delicious and the service was attentive and unobtrusive. The owner happened to be seated at an adjoining table with his wife and we enjoyed a chat with them. The Shetland Salmon was scrumptious.
Great food, service and atmosphere.
Can't ask for more, really fair prices too for the high quality food.

Had a lovely lunch here. The staff were very busy as two different functions on as well ss serving lunch. They let us know there would be a bit of a wait for our food but I've waited longer with no explanation for the delay. The food was excellent, especially loved the potatoes with black pudding and the healthy portion of vegetables. My partner had a steak which was cooked to perfection with a perfect pepper sauce. Would definitely visit again, friendly and professional staff and a lovely atmosphere.
Gastro Pub & Conservatory offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with extremely friendly staff. The steak and ale pie, along with the fish & chips, were truly impressive, both in taste and portion size. The prices are justified for the generous servings. A delightful stop before or after visiting Rosslyn Chapel. I would highly recommend the place to anyone.
This is a £17 vegan burger. This is way too small for a £17 burger. And the quality is barely better than at McDonalds or Burger King. Will change my review if you give me some of my money back. Please change either the prize or quality of the Green Man or take it off the menu altogether, because this is just blatantly ripping people off.
After visiting the magnificent Roslyn Chapel we stopped by the Pub for a drink. The pub was so cozy and welcoming that we stayed for a delicious dinner and long chats with the locals. A wonderful evening!

I'm surprised to see any negative reviews of this absolutely charming pub. The staff, environment, warmth, food, and drink were just fantastic on our visit this week gone. The fish and chips were really tasty, well cooked, and portion size was generous. The Guiness was pulled to perfection, and the look and feel of the place, along with the lovely young lady who served us and had a chat, was just what was needed on a snowy afternoon! Highly recommended after a trip to this beautiful little village.
