Fine for access, but the rutted track needs some attention. It's a pity people park in the turning area at the end of the track. A sign would help to discourage this. Footpath styles around the Kentchurch deer park are in poor repair, too.
Lovely walk to do but will walk up a different way as the car park “road” is like driving up a ploughed field ???? but other than that well worth it for the fantastic views, a relatively easy walk from that car park for anyone that can’t manage anything too strenuous.
Not a great car-park. Track was awful and needs resurfacing but the views made up for it.
I wouldn't call it a car park.. Garway Hill is a lovely walk, and the views are spectacular.
One of our favourite local walks, been coming here since I was a wee bairn. Car park is small and track in poor condition - best not cramming loads of cars down the track as it's probably a private road!
Great little carpark from which you can do a fairly gentle 10-15 minute climb to the top of Garway Hill. There's a good 2 mile circular walk and longer ones too. The road up is bumpy, but fine for a normal car as long as you go slowly. It only takes about 8-10 cars at most though, so if you come on a weekend or holiday be prepared for it to be full occasionally.
Has parking space for about 5 cars. Beware of the rough track from the road. Two walks up to the top, one more steep than the other and it isn't too far. What views when you reach the top; on a clear day!
A great walk with beautiful views, the dog certainly enjoyed it. The little road and small car park could be an issue if busy, if that is the case park at the bottom and walk up, it's not far.
