Not one to ever leave a review to a company ever in fact this isnmy first time as i wouldn't like anyone else having the experience I have. I put my car in for a mot last month and when i went bavk down the guy said i failed it due they had burst a brake pipe burst (during mot) but did not take any responsibility at all i hsd to just accept that snd get the problem fixed. So i did at another garage that a family member knows where i got the brake pipe fixed and got a god bit of other work done also and overall spent 700 to get the car spot on which it was, so i booked back in with gm autos for my mot retest and since leaving the garage it is doing nothing but clonking and banging from the front where it most defiantly didn't do before going into that garage or i would have noticed and wouldn't be making this review. In my opinion avoid and find somewhere else.
Lost power on Forth Bridge and GD Autos was so handy! Quick no fuss diagnostics and efficient replacement of fuel filter at a reasonable price, leaving us confident to drive up to Aberdeen.
I used them a few years ago for an MOT. I went to collect my car but it wouldn't start. They had jumped it and had reversed the leads so the ECU was blown. Weren't interested and would not accept responsibility. I had to have car recovered to the dealer and paid for a new ECU and programming. They are cowboys. Don't use them. The AA mechanic that came out to recover the car said he used to work for a local garage and his boss loved them as they generated so much work for them.

I took my car in for MOT and found the two testers and mechanic very friendly and informative. I was also able to view the inspection from a waiting area which is quite rare nowadays. I will be using this garage from now on. Very pleased with the service.
I took my VW Tiguan in as the coil spring had broken. The guys fixed it promptly and then very helpfully sorted out a seized brake caliper. Great workshop with proper mechanics. Thoroughly recommended
Helped us out with running a diagnostic check at our house today as our main dealer has a waiting time of 5 weeks before they can do one. Turned up on time, answered my questions very happy with them and would use again.
Awful MOT experience. MOT was failed during the first test and had a list of advisories to fix. A very high estimate was given. Fixed all of them at another garage and went for the re test, failed it for the second time for minor reasons. Wouldn’t use them again.
