The guys here are all professional and down to earth at the same time. They checked over the car to find out what was wrong, got the parts in quickly and then had the car fixed in next to no time. I felt very looked after, highly recommend.
The garage is open on Sunday, which is great.
I was charged for 15 minutes " diagnostic " nearly £50 . I could get it done from AA Patrol for free . I don't think I will visit HiTech again.Not clear what they do and how. The final price appears without details .
However, the garage is well equipped, and HiTech seems to be professional.
Next time I'll visit my local mechanic. I got the feeling that £50 (including VAT and receipt) for 15 minutes is way too much.
Extremely happy with the service.
My partner and I have bought our Porshe Macan to this garage recently. We were extremely impressed by the customer service provided by kay. He was very easy to follow and understand. He gave us a really detailed breakdown of works required. Price was extremely reasonable, taking into consideration the amount of work they needed to do.
We really felt our car was in good hands and since its been returned, it drives looks new and drives really well.
Thank you to everyone at the garage including the Kay, who we were very impressed with. We would highly recommend this garage to others.
**AVOID THIS GARAGE**
I Took my car to this body shop as I previously used to use their sister garage on craven park for my vehicles to get my MOTs.
So I didn’t do much due diligence on this garage to my mistake.
The owner Kay initially gave me a price of £500 a panel which is way more expensive than other garages nearby.
When I then had someone who is more familiar with cars and costs tell me I’m being ripped off I then asked Kay to reduce the price by removing some panels and also that I will supply the parts myself such as door and handle etc.
Initially he was very reluctant to this and didn’t want to allow me to do this as obviously he was hoping to make more money out of me.
As I then told him I would take my car to another garage he then bumped up the price of the labor per panel to £650 and I will need to pay storage fees if I chose to take my car out.
I decided to pay for only 2 panels which equated to £1550 he then charged me an extra £200 for labor on one of the panels I’ve already paid for.
So at the end with all the extras it was bumped up to £1830 for 2x panels
These guys are blatant rip offs in my opinion and would rather ruin a business relationship with someone who has been using them for years over greed.
I would strongly recommend not using this garage simply because they are extremely extortionate and will try to fleece you at any opportunity, just read other people’s reviews it’ll give you a better idea of the the way these guys do business.
The guys at the garage were able to identify the issue with my car in no time, they illustrated to me with images what the issue was and offered me different solutions in different price ranges.
Really helpful and good service. Clear communication about works required to get car through MOT. Now under new management, this garage is highly recommended.
