Was passing to see Aqueduct and noticed the community centre open. I was in luck as the cafe was open too. Home baked cakes and refreshments were on the menu. Much healthier and tastier than any Starbucks or Costa, served with beautiful smiles from the most caring and kind volunteers. Thank you very much. I'd return just to see you all again. ☺
Absolutely lovely ladies who were serving. Lovely sandwiches, tea etc.
Nice ,spacious hall and side room available. Good kitchen facilities and very clean
Absolutely wonderful to sit outside on a sunny day drinking tea and eating delicious home-made cake. Cheap as chips and lovely people and with a good supply of books for sale where you pay in an honesty box. Immaculately clean toilets and a large car park. It doesn’t get any better.
Always very friendly. The home baked cakes are award winning. Prices unbelievably inexpensive. Highly recommend a visit especially if you're having a nice walk along the canal. Free parking and always space.
Beautiful walk along tow path and aquaduct amazing.
Walk underneath and the full extent of engineering involved reveled.
All done before mega machines of today.
Place dead no shops except for the big tesco . Historic village a big let down as so much modern as taken over. Walked from Trefor wharf so missed the car park in the village which had a map of the landmark buildings. Had to buy a sandwich from tesco which did not have a cafe. There is a museum which was being locked up at 12. All in all a big let down.
Went to a yoga class here, Rhi, the instructor was really good. It's lovely to have a Community centre in this village
