Excellent service from new staff and lady dentist. Complete turn round from previous poor service. Receptionist greeted me with a smile and was friendly. Complete examination and full details of what was going on. Nurses very kind and friendly. Put at ease and not rushed.
Frequently there is no one answering their phones. Dentist I had an appointment with recently was through and very nice and kept me well informed of the state of my teeth and what she thought was best to do going forward. Unfortunately due to the phone issue and some mismanagement of my appointments leading to a 40 minute wait last time I attended I don't intend on visiting this practice many more times in the future.
I've had two appointments at this dentist. First one they hadn't booked me nto the diary so no dentist attended. The second appointment the dentist was a no show. I previously attended their sister surgery just off Bytes Rd. In Jan)Feb 2020 I paid this dentist £80 for an X-ray. We then went into lockdown in March 2020 & the surgery never contacted me. They happily took my money which they still have. I have proof of the payment from my bank. I've called the surgery 3x & nobody calls me back.even though they said they would. I now have to go through court to get my money back. If you use this dentist get a receipt or pay by card. Or better still avoid at all costs.
This dentist, that all of my family and I have been going to (in its various forms) for over 20 years, knows I have to drive from St Andrews to Anniesland to continue with treatment to repair the poor work undertaken by one of their previous dentists! With COP 26 road closures, after driving for 3 hours solid, and advising the surgery at 11.35am that it was looking like I’d be approx 10 mins late for my 12 noon appointment, I arrived at 12.08pm to be told I couldn’t be taken, and I’d need to make another appointment. Surely during COP 26 road closures AND after driving 90 miles which took 3 hours, a bit of consideration wasn’t too much to ask? In every other walk of life, we have all been asked to be kind during the past 2 years, and this dentist has clearly learned nothing! Good luck with your income generating business!
ZERO STARS. AVOID. Today I was messaged at 9:50am to tell me that my appointment at 4pm was cancelled. I have already had a cancelled appointment for my root canal and had to wait a further 3 weeks for this appointment. I was then guaranteed that my appointment would go ahead but this was a false claim also.
Today I have been left with no contact from the dentist to try and get this rectified as the pain I am in is excruciating. Nobody cares. I have been passed from pilar to post and even after me calling them back at 17:29pm to say nobody had got back to me, the receptionist told me that someone would be calling me. It is not 18:49pm and still no contact.
I am still in excruciating pain and waiting for NHS24 to call me back for an emergency appointment at the dental hospital. This will more than likely result in my tooth being pulled.
I have never had such a bad experience with a dentist in my life, and when I asked for the complaints procedure I was told they can’t email me or tell me what to do over the phone and that I will have to appear in person to the clinic. So I’ll see them tomorrow to not only unregister myself but to follow through with the complaint.
A complete farcical dental practice and if anyone should know how agonising toothache can be is a dentist.
Avoid like the plague, cancelled on the day of my appointment multiple times in the last couple years. Takes about 4 appointments before they will start doing any work and then charge a fortune. Staff are nice enough though

terrible wasted my time twice booked my in for appt for 1st ad had issues with teeth and needed work. stand in dentist they have no notes. my rebooked appt to get work done and booked aesthetics appt in error. their systems have been down for weeks
I’ve been with this dentist most of my life and always had a pleasant experience until recently. I had a retainer that snapped, booked an appointment to get impressions for a new one but no one knew what to do so they sent me away and told me someone would get back to me. They never did get back to me and I chased every week for 8 weeks, 3 months passed which then took me outside the warranty period and I was charged £150 for a new one despite it being their fault I had to wait so long.
My dad has recently been in 4 times with toothache, they phoned on the day to cancel on 2 occasions and tried to arrange the appointment for over a week later despite him being in agony. He got an appointment which they knew was to take a tooth out but didn’t book enough time to allow for this so had to turn him away at his appointment and reschedule for a longer appointment.
Overall really poor service.
