came back to B/sea after many years to visit family, first time ive visited the freemasons in about 10 years. Ann and Jay are amazing hosts, good beer, good chat and great atmosphere. will definitely come back for a pint or 2 when i return home again COYI
I got sent away because I was under the age of 21. Because our age has a bad reputation but why can’t you just Monitor Are behaviour and if we was too loud and doing inappropriate Things then send us away, as we just wanted a nice quiet drink. Also people the same age as me are serving At the bar what’s that about !!!!
Gigged there recently. Great atmosphere, welcoming staff, friendly and absolutely buzzing.
Disgusting that they can turn away customers under the age of 21. Fair enough certain younger people can cause trouble. However this can happen in any pub so why not just monitor individuals that cause trouble. In Brightlinsea they have a good range of pubs and I can't believe this place have decided to age discriminate. (This is coming from someone old enough to be at the pub ) I was socialising with 2 people of the legal age to drink .
