Popped in for a couple of cheeky Saturday afternoon beers. Good welcome and nice relaxed atmosphere. Nice place for a chilled sit down beer ????
Didn't have food but has a very good reputation for that apparently ????
We returned after a very nice meal a few months ago. Unfortunately it's not stated anywhere that the kitchen closes at 3pm. Had to go elsewhere.
You will not get a nicer meal than this beautiful little gem of a place. The staff are fabulous and the food is delicious and quickly served. My favourite place to eat ❤️
The pub was freezing, so we had to keep our coats on whilst eating our meal. The young girl who served us was polite, pleasant and efficient. The food however was disappointing. My mother and I ordered pork chops, they were not a chop they were definitely a pork steak, onion rings were from Iceland or any other freezer department, my husband had corned beef pie which in all honesty was just mush in hard pastry. Overall it was very disappointing and I shall not be returning.

Me and 13 of my friends visited the pub for lunch yesterday 11th September. We was served what can only be described as a kids meal portion at best. Massive let down and left a bitter taste in all our mouths. Definitely will not be returning/ that’s 14 customers in one sitting unhappy. Few of the boys were also given incorrect drinks. Poor show.
Went for Sunday dinner. Was quite nice and the price is very reasonable. Would have liked to know roast potatoes were on offer, though
Food was at best edible andwas more like canteen food (I assume they don't have an actual chef) but Service Staff were really nice
