Popped to see the Transformation after new landlord took over, pub looks braw decked oot in the Lichtie colour's
Sweary crowd. Aggressive-looking dog. Credit card transactions not available. Dreary and dark interior.
First visit for around 2 years. Great to see it is reopened and importantly the Friday evening traditional music has been reinstated. Look forward to these!

My family and I love this place. Dianne and staff are all so warm and welcoming. Perfect pint at a fair price with a great atmosphere. Your dog will even get a biscuit or two!
Absolutely worth a visit, warm, friendly atmosphere and the pint is crisp and certainly soothes a thirst. Plenty seating inside even during these times, the jewel in their crown is the beer garden. Diane and scott have turned this into a sun trap seated area with blooms galore. Well done guys. Had a great afternoon in their beer garden, monday 3rd Aug, infact was their till gone 7pm. Great day had by all, thankyou.
Stopped in for a few drinks with family visiting from England. It hasn't changed much since I first came in here in 1981. Love the pub.
