I've only had the misfortune of dealing with this practise 3 times. Since my old practice became out of catchment. The first time I went there, they managed to mess up a simple blood test. So the blood test came back normal, when in fact it wasnt. They never tested me for what I was actually having the blood test for. The second time I saw them went okay, simple prescription. As for the 3rd, and hopefully final time, as I have no faith in them, and I want to leave. They require another blood test. Maybe this practice is suitable for anyday ailments, but I would never recommend them to anyone, who suffers from chronic conditions. They honestly seem out of their depth.
Spoke to my diabetic nurse at the hospital. She told me to make appointment to see my gp. Phoned the surgery no appointment available phone back next week. Then the line went dead. Never had this problem at tynewydd surgery. I also suffer from depression and anxiety since the merger only seen the mental health nurse and that's only cause I was having a bad time also never had medicine review
Been phoning the surgery 2 days in a row to get an appointment to be told there's none left. The receptionists try everything in their power to palm you off with the pharmacy, I went to the pharmacy like they suggested and got told to see the GP, I can't win. They need to sort the appointment system out its beyond a joke, people are ill and the receptionists think they are medically trained enough to send you to a chemist. DISGUSTING!!!!!

Sent an insurance declaration form to the practice 8 weeks ago by registered post and paid for the fee seven weeks ago. Just needs a signature from a GP. Phone 3 times to ask for progress on it. Told someone would phone me back 3 times. No one has.
Stonewalled. Now been told it could take a further month! Quick to take the fee. Very slow to action. Dreadful service. Practice manager won’t phone me unless I send an email? Ridiculous.
Doctors good but reception staff rubbish ???? asked for my sick paper told I would have to see a doctor told I had 3 days ago than told it was not due until today can I have it than no not due until today you will have to waet until we phone you than came back up and collect it but I am here now can not give it to you was not going to wast my time thank goodness I have got a car
This is the worst practice in the Valleys!!! Never able to get an appointment on the day or in advance. Constant battle with the doctors to get referrals or medication. Doctors always think they know better than the patients about what is going on with their own bodies. Doctors give diagnosis without any investigation or tests (must be psychic). Receptionists give you the run around when trying to speak to anyone.
Put on a 2 month supply of my prescrìption instead of every 1 mth.although it's a repeat scrip it's never at my pharmacy on time..I ran out of tablets this weekend.
Dangerious negligent and a complete waste. Have not seen a doctor in nearly two years never contacted me in 18 months for tablet review.
Three appiontments made three by me only to be told wrong days ended up at hospital to get bloods taken as im diabetic. Still nothing trust this you will end up being seriously ill if you sign with these only good reviews are from family members or friends trying to keep peoples jobs.
The village idiots have been given the keys to the medicine cabinet.
