Ordered our meal after having to get cash from the ATM. Meal arrived so took it home to eat. Not an experience I wish to repeat. Fish was over cooked and tough. The batter looked like it was cooked in stale oil. My wife's sausage also tasted grim the oil must have turned.Next time going to spend a bit more on petrol and will drive to Ketley .
You'll think I'm exaggerating, but this was the worst takeaway meal of any sort I've had the misfortune to experience. I was going to have cod and chips, but the fish looked awful, so I went for a large doner and chips. No pitta bread, the only salad ingredients available were red cabbage, a couple of slices of tomato and a few last dregs of cucumber. No peppers, no onions, no lettuce, no nothing.
This was 7:30pm on a Friday night - hardly the graveyard shift, although I fear I might now be heading in that direction.
Mind you she did empty the bottle of hot chilli sauce over the food, thus rendering it virtually inedible.
How is this place trading?
Normally get our chippy from tasty fryer and its normally bang on ... today it was late and cold and the doner meat looked like leather was dry the chicken meat was nasty aswell... sorry guys just not good enough
Chips a little dark for me, but the fish ...wow.... amazing freshly cooked, thoroughly cooked and not too heavy on the batter ..beautiful.
Will not be getting anything from this place again after last. Some of the food was mediocre at best, the rest a greasy disgusting mess that have food poisoning.
Reported to Food Standard Agency. Unless you want to get food poisoning, avoid!
When you are waiting in line to be served and the girl behind the counter is telling the customer in front she doesn't care about customers service, and shes always right not the customer before barely acknowledging me when she's finished her bizarre flirting technique to serve me. Needless to say, we will go elsewhere.
Chips were fresh and tasty and the fish was to die for. I will definitely be returning soon!
Never answers the phone .... doesn't have correct times for opening hours so never sure go down and never open terrible would not recommend used to be amazing gone down hill
