Food so bad even the dog said no!!!!
For a place that prides itself on top quality pies mine was a microwaved, soggy rancid tasting thing that literally the dog refused!!!
Chips were luke warm and the fish for a large may well have been a child's size. Absolutely disgusting meal, avoid at all costs. To top it all off the price they charge for small portions of foul tasting food are astronomical and they don’t even smile when they rip you off!!!!
Just had some chips from here as not feeling well today but thought so could eat these. Ordered them with curry sauce but they put gravy on. They were clearly reheated and were cold. Really not at all nice. Threw them away
Fish was dry, chips weren’t that warm and the sausage looked under cooked … for the price I paid, the portions get smaller each time … wont be returning I’m afraid …
Called in Friday for pie and chips. Wow ! Chips were beautiful and the steak pie was faultless. It’s my little treat when I’m in Winsford. Apparently the pies are made in house. You must try them !
Perfect fish and chips. Taste, portion size, price, packaging, temperature all absolutely spot on. Cannot fault the food here
Went there yesterday as I used to visit when in the area. Unfortunately due their well well overpriced food. ( I certainly won’t be going again ). Outrageous prices. Absolutely outrageous
Ordered Fish and chips ... fish was lukewarm. Chips with any doubt reheated/dipped in fryer again.. hard , binned the lot!! GO ELSEWHERE.
Standard is too variable Not taking the risk again, lost trust!
Food is good, steak pie was real steak, not fatty at all. Chips were good, can't really go wrong with chips. The gravy was excellent had a beef flavour to it, very good indeed.
The only thing that let it down for me was that it's a bit dearer than other chippies in the area.
