Yes, nice, consistently good. Aleays seem tohave an excellent range of tasty sweet and savoury snacks, served courteously and promptly for very reasonable money. The only downside being that the outside seating is, well, outside. That said, it's so worth it that am sitting outside the shop in the rain eating my bacon bap while my tea is being cooled by March showers. Worth it.
Had a little bit of time to kill in Totnes on my way to Kingsbridge and I stopped by here.
The service was super friendly and made me feel very welcome.
I had the apple, elderflower and raspberry cake which was lovely and a coffee, which was much needed after a 6 hour coach from London!
Would definitely stop by if I'm in the area again!
Lovely bakery, great selection of cakes etc and really good coffee. Happy friendly service and nice to sit at the tables outside.
Food for thought is set on a broad, leafy street and has outdoor seating. We had a very tasty pasty, and very acceptable tea and coffee.
The staff were cheerful and helpful.
Lovely coffee and so reasonably priced compared to other coffee shops in Totnes. Asked for an oat milk latte and amazingly they don't charge extra for this unlike all the other coffee shops. Also they serve delicious ice-cream which is at least £1 cheaper than anywhere else in Totnes.
Food for thought.... Nothing could be fairer. Exquisite food, rich in flavors and wrapped in a crunchy batter served with love and courtesy. The desserts are also excellent. Prices more than correct given the quality of the food

Bought a takeaway coffee which leaked from the seam on the side onto my light coloured jacket. Went back and was offered a "free" coffee, I still had coffee in the cup. Instead of offering a refund or a free coffee next time I was to be grateful she replaced it with another coffee. Jacket ruined due to poor quality cup and this their reaction. Very poor customer service. Makes you wonder how quality checked all the goods are including their food. Will not buy from them again, beware
