Ordered the avocado smash and poached eggs with salmon, 11.95£. Waited 20 mins and got this (see photo). Eggs were not poached properly, toast was hard and the avocado smash tasted like cheap store bought guacamole. Salmon was alright.
But still the worst eggs on toast I've had.
Place is nice, owner is friendly, staff are helpful and there's a very cute dog that hangs around, but the food was really disappointing to say the least.
PS : some of the replies to negative feedback are hilariously unprofessional, like something out of Mean Girls xD
My brother posted a review about a salmon bagel he didn't like and they replied with a straight up lie saying he said on camera that it was perfect (which he didn't).
Hard what I assume to be cheese in the burger, not nice at all.
Baked fries were ok.
My friend ordered a meatless burger but was given a chicken burger and only realised this when we went back to the office.
If they've giving meat to a vegetarian I wouldn't eat here if you have any allergies.
Edit:
(In response to owner)
I still have the receipt and it 100% was one of your (horrible) meals.
Maybe you should take some of the feedback onboard instead of claiming everyone is "a hater" anyone would think it was a 5 year old behind your keyboard.
Please see instagram vs reality. Genuinely I wouldn’t feed that rubbish to my dog, the poor animal would run away. I paid £12 for this and waited 25 mins. Got back to the office, opened it and just wanted to cry. It reminded me of the sad day that my mum left me, I just felt empty and emotionless. The backlash continues, I felt so embarrassed opening in the office (obviously I work in the city). The chap next to me said “rah mate, that absolutely honks”. Usually I have breakfast in the Ned on a Thursday when I’m doing BD with my clients, I thought I’d change it up. Another bad bit of news, I can expense the Ned breakfast and can’t expense this, luckily my 3 figure salary came in handy. Morale of the story is don’t go to this place.
Waited 30 minutes for avocado and eggs on toast and it was the worst avocado on toast I've ever had. Latte had bad milk in it too.
How can I not be real with 375 reviews?( was the first question by the owner)
Experience overall was mediocre- long wait to get ordered food, and wait for delivery, close to non existence assistance of staff which seems new and unaware of some of the composition of the food - when food arrived, it was average and does not deserve such a high price ! All subjective as my experience was not great on my first visit!
Response to the owner who does not accept constructive criticisms and has a pattern in responding to objective ones: It will !(to tesco)
This owner thinks everyone has a complaint to his profile! Accept constructive criticism!!
Tried Fit Kitchen for the first time this weekend and I would definitely recommend! Had the roasted salmon fillet with tomato sauce and rice, which tasted amazingg. Glad to finally find a place that does healthy food that actually tastes great. Store looks really good and the staff are super friendly. I’ll definitely be back!
Ordered a chicken Pita wrap and waited for over 20 minutes. There was no one else in the store so it was very odd why it took so long.
The food itself was pretty average and wasn’t worth the price.
Edit: what a childish reply, to clarify it was the grilled chicken pitta. It also states on the menu that it should take 5-10 minutes. One of the staff was busy taking pictures of a coffee.
Be prepared for a long wait—it's not fast food so if you're in a hurry go elsewhere. Our food wasn't bad, in fact it tasted nice, was well priced and seemed like a healthier option. We were told it would be a 15 minute wait but it ended up being 35 minutes! Lucky for us we were on holiday and needed a break from walking around. Maybe they need more staff?
