Good parking facilities for everything up to buses.
The car park nearest the slipway charges, but there's another overflow car park, just a couple of minutes walk away, which is free.
The beach here is stunning!
Free long stay car park which is needed for ferry trips here. No need to pay for short stay or block local resident parking in the area. We did Iona trip the pic is from the ferry as we arrived. Enjoy

This is a great place to park for free if you are driving to Fionnphort to take the ferry to Iona. It’s a quick turn off the main road, and then a short, three minute walk to the ferry terminal. When I went, there were plenty of of spaces available.
Great little seafood Shack. Hot food at 1300 hrs with a can of In Bru. Lovely.????
Re EV charger:
I was unable to activate the charger at all despite downloading the App. Using my wife’s phone (which had a better mobile phone signal) I still failed to get it to work.
(NB only EE seems to have coverage around here)
The App kept giving me an error code. ??505 - I can’t recall it precisely now.
I didn’t have time to order an RFID card.
I spent a few hours trying to solve my inability to get it to charge my car and had to abandon it all together in favour of a Type 1 charger (3 pin AC socket) on a farm. (John&Linda at Knocklovogan farm sorted me out and I paid them the supercharger rate (52p / kWh rather than their supplier’s rate 27p)
The info on the ChargeScotland website was poor.
The info from the machine’s LED display was unhelpful. It seemed that my App failed to connect to the machine so that either the App or the LED screen on the charger could help me problem solve my difficulties. Very frustrating!
I heard from locals that the charger has been out of order more than it has been working.
The surrounding structure to the charger is in a very bad state of repair (panels absent / rust / damaged) though the charger itself seemed intact.
Overall - very frustrating.
Very disappointing.
Ultimately for me, of no help at all.
Stayed here overnight before going over to Iona nice and quiet
Large free car park.
No sleeping in vehicles permitted, there is a campsite further up the road or plenty of wild camping spots available further inland.
