Visited this clinic 13/2/24 and it was the best decision I’ve made in a very long time.
The wait was worth it, from start to finish approximately 2 hrs quicker than any GP or A&E service that I’ve had recently.
I was thoroughly checked over by triage nurse who was absolutely wonderful, asked many questions and I did not feel rushed. I do not know which Dr I saw but he was also very thorough, gave me a diagnosis and meds and additional advice.
Excellent care all round, keep up the great work.
An elderly friend rang me crying with pain, unable to get a GP appointment. When I rang Faversham Health Centre, my enquiry was treated not only efficiently but also with kindness and consideration (thank you Cressida - or, sorry, I think it may have been Clarissa - I can't read my own writing! Please see this very helpful lady gets the thanks she deserves). Thanks also to Carol, who very patiently helped my friend fill in the on-screen questionnaire. I don’t know the name of the doctor who saw my friend, but he was also very thorough and very kind. This is exactly how the NHS should treat patients, with kindness and consideration, but sadly this doesn’t always happen.
I had been having issues with my local GP to get an urgent appointment as some of the symptoms I was having could be serious.
My family member who has medical knowledge advised me to get this looked at asap as could be serious and they suggested this centre.
Very good service and staff.
Nice clean areas.
Unfortunately, whilst waiting, some people really are rude and they think the whole world revolves around them and their shopping times????.
Most of this negative feedback is mainly due to the modern world selfish attitude.
I couldn't believe that some of the public that had come in were tutting about having to wait 1 -2 hours.
From arrival to out I was just over 2 hours.
The consultation, x-ray etc was all done in around 15mins.
Sometimes Tec goes wrong and they have to pick up the pieces manually and it can take time.
If you moan about the Tec, then you can go back to the 80s when I was in hospital.
X-rays were another hour or so wait to get results.
Well done all,
Great job.
If I could give zero stars I would. Last year I wrote a formal complaint after an initial doctor's appointment where I was made to feel that I was wasting her time. After two blood tests I heard nothing and assumed everything was okay. After about a month my wife encouraged me to call and they said they had my results but no-one had looked at it. It turned out I had an abnormally high PSA count and got an immediate hospital appointment. My treatment at the hospital was excellent and after a biopsy it was concluded that all was okay. However, I was told to get another blood test in a year's time. I did this six weeks ago and at the time of writing I am still waiting for the result with FHC saying that I need to ring the hospital and the hospital saying they have given the result to FHC. I have called both the hospital and FHC three times now and each time they say they cannot help me. I have just called FHC again where the receptionist was rude and patronising and had no empathy about why I might be a bit upset. I have a letter saying I have been formally discharged to FHC which I received a year ago but FHC continue to say it is not their responsibility. They are an absolute joke. I could have an another abnormally high PSA count that needs further investigation but they do not care. All I want is for someone to give me my blood test result. Is it really that difficult? It should not be my responsibility to keep ringing the same two organisations trying to get an answer.
My daughter was unwelcome before Christmas and I could not get a GP appointment. I took her to Faversham walk in centre. From the minute we arrived every staff member was amazing. The receptionists kind, the DR my daughter saw, caring, understanding and even got her to smile. These people are working under such pressure and are angels
Walked in this hospital this morning with severe mouth and facial pain.
From walking in to leaving, the service was 1st class, and the staff were amazing.
I was quickly see by a lady from the urgent care team?(can't remember her name) and she went out of her way to help me out.
This is the second time I have been to this hospital and both times the whole experience was 5*****
Thankyou very much to everyone for all your help

Arrived early for appointed time for inoculations and hardly sat down before being called. Inoculations carried out painlessly and with minimum fuss. Very pleased with service on this occasion.
Transferred to this surgery recently. I have had amazing help and treatment, both from Drs, HCA's and receptionist. Can't do enough to help. I hope their new phone system helps them and patients. I phoned today at 12 and am due to have a phone call from a GP this afternoon. Brilliant.
