First contact was with Jim.
I described my semi automatic gearbox issue with my 2007 Renault 2.5 diesel Master Van.
Jim explained possible cause.
The gearbox is actually a manual box with an Electro Hydraulic Robot which makes the "semi automatic" changes.
Issue could be the Electro Hydraulic Robot.
He discussed potential costs & explained that a diagnostic first can confirm this is the fault or not.
Jim explained it could even be a "Clutch issue".
Jim recommended a great chap Trevor (CBS Vehicle Movements in Burntwood) who would collect my van from Shropshire & take to Fast Fit in Walsall to undertake the diagnostics.
Jim phoned the day after the van was collected & identified the fault as a Clutch & fluid loss issue.
I wasn't in a rush for the van.
4 days later Jim phoned to say it had been completed & tested & 12 months warranty.
I collected the van.
It absolutely drives so smooth.

i booked my car in for a new what i thought was a new clutch, the team checked it over and said it was the master cylinder on the clutch pedal which saved me money. truthful honest garage. would deffo recommend and use again. great team.

I came to Fast Fit Clutch due to what was initially suspected a faulty clutch installation. The garage I used in Wolverhampton had changed hands a couple weeks after having the clutch and flywheel replaced. The new owners did not want anything to do with it, and actually gave me a number for Fast Fit Clutch. Jin & the team provided first class service, reassurance, positivity, and professionalism. You're made to feel like an old friend rather than a customer and everything was discussed clearly and it ended up being the exhaust was loose, it was reattached, test driven and sorted out rapidly. The only con was I had to wait a week to book in as they are so busy, which I guess is a sign of a successful garage. Big thanks Jin and the team.
